We’re delighted to confirm that we will be able to operate under the new “Traffic Light” Covid-19 Protection Framework that will be in place from Friday 3 December 2021.

In order for our business to operate effectively under that framework and for the safety of our riders and staff, we will be operating under the My Vaccine Pass rules. So EVERY RIDER will need to have a Vaccine Pass to come on one of our tours or rent an eBike from us. As required under the Covid-19 Protection Framework, all of our staff are fully vaccinated.

If you (or any other person in the group you are booking for) do not already have a Vaccine Pass and want to come on one of our tours or rent our eBikes, before you book please visit

On arrival for your tour or rental, we  are required to check the Vaccine Pass of each rider (using the official NZ Pass Verifier app). If you do not have a Vaccine Pass, you will not be able to join the tour/take the rental eBike.  There will be NO EXCEPTIONS to this – we do not have any discretion under the Covid-19 Protection Framework to grant exceptions and will be liable for fines if we do. And we cannot offer refunds if you book but are not able to ride because you do not have a Vaccine Pass.

Reflecting New Zealand government guidance:

  • If you are feeling sick, please stay at home and report any flu-like symptoms to your doctor.
  • Please use the contact tracing QR code to record your arrival at our base at the Park Hyatt – we will have NZ COVID Tracer app QR codes for your to scan in when you arrive for your tour or rental (just ask us if you can’t see them). As noted in our Find Us page, we will meet you at the start of your tour/rental inside The Pantry cafe at the Park Hyatt Auckland. You will need to wear a mask, scan in using their contact tracing code and have a Vaccine Pass to enter the cafe.
  • We strongly encourage you to wear a mask on arrival. It will be up to you if you wish to continue wearing a mask during your ride.
  • Please be considerate to others and observe social distancing (at least 1 metre).
  • Regularly wash and sanitize your hands (we have hand sanitizer at our base and we can also provide you with it at any time during your tour – just ask your guide!).

If you have decided not to get vaccinated against Covid-19, we respect your personal choice. However, a consequence of that is that we are not able to offer you tours or rentals. We accept the frustrations that might accompany this new way of doing things, but we will not tolerate any abuse or aggression directed toward our staff.

Thank you for your understanding and co-operation.
